Southern Tier Sports ReportJOHNSON CITY — Cayden Bowman had a 714 series, as the Horseheads Blue Raiders had a season high on the boys side as they swept Johnson City in boys’ bowling 5-0 on Tuesday.
Horseheads shot 1,061, 1,124 and 940 for a 3,125. It was the Blue Raiders first time shooting over 3,000 pins this year. Johnson City shot 892, 1,046 and 916 for a 2,854.
Bowman shot 255-267-192 for the 714 and Noah Cady shot 236, 243 and 204 for a 683.
Zane Alexander shot 202-234-171-607 and Gabriel Merrill shot 221-197-182-600, while Micah Merrill shot 147-183-191-521.
On the girls side the Blue Raiders fell 5-0. Johnson City shot 679, 661 and 561 for a 1,901. Horseheads shot 528, 529 and 437 for a 1,494.
Annabelle Guardi shot 173-172-118-463 for Horseheads and Joslynn Peters shot 114-107-90-311.
Jazmyne Kim shot 76-86-59-221 and Addy Perry shot 87-91-178, while Sarah Hopkins shot 96-77-173. Summer Folk shot 69-79-148.
