SECTION 4 WRESTLING: HORSEHEADS WINS TITLE AT PENFIELD/HUNTER LEONE TOURNEY (December 14, 2025)

The Horseheads Blue Raiders won the title at the 2025 Penfield/Hunter-Leone Tournament over the weekend.

Horseheads won with a score of 151.5 with Webster Thomas second at 136. 

Jaxson Burchard won the title at 190, going 4-0 with a pair of pins, and a technical fall.

Zachary Schrage went 2-0 to win the title at 165, getting a pin and a technical fall win.

Josh Knapp won the 110-pound title, going 2-0 with a pin and a technical fall win. 

Gavin Hornsby was second on the day, finishing with two technical fall wins and a major decision victory, going 3-1. Connor Warrick was second at 215, going 3-1 on the day with a pin. 

Tanner Knapp was runner-up at 118, going 4-1 on the day with three pins and a major decision. Connor McAllister was fourth at the same weight with two ins, by fall. Knapp beat him by major decision, 17-5. 

Isaiah Beam was sixth at 285, going 0-5 on the day. 

Damian Saks (132) was 2-3 on the day. Aziz Gafsi was 1-2 on the day with a pin. Kenny Kailbourne was 0-2 on the day. Noah Miller was 2-1 on the day with a pin.
