IAC BOYS' BASKETBALL: EDISON EDGED BY NEWARK VALLEY IN OT (19 PHOTOS)(December 12, 2025) Southern Tier Sports Report NEWARK VALLEY — The Edison boys’ basketball game got 23 points from Marcquis Bradley Jr., but they were edged by Newark Valley in overtime as their comeback bid came up short, 69-65.
Edison trailed 13-10 after one quarter and 29-17 at the half. However, the Spartans outscored Newark Valley 22-4 in the third to take a lead, before Newark Valley forced overtime in the fourth and won it with seven overtime points.
Bradley Jr. had 10 points in the third and 11 in the fourth and Mark Cornacchio had three threes in the fourth and four in the game for 12 points.
Brayden Doyle had three threes in the third quarter, and him and Connor Lasko each had nine points in the game.
Bentley Stroman had seven points and Jha’Zhere Muniz finished with four points and Brenden Green finished with a point.
