SECTION 4 GIRLS' WRESTLING: ELMIRA GIRLS TAKE 2ND AT U-E TOURNEY (December 12, 2025)

ENDICOTT — The Elmira girls finished second at the Union-Endicott Girls’ Wrestling Tournament on Friday night. 

Elmira was second at 134, with Tioga winning at 139.5. 

At 94 pounds Alexis Collins was runner-up for Elmira. She fell by technical fall 14-4 to Madison Farberman of Harpursville-Bainbridge-Guilford-Afton-Chenango Valley in the final. 

Aleah Hartford was second for Elmira at 100 pounds. They wrestled round-robin with Hartford notching three pins on the day. Her loss was to Cadence Guy of Walton-Delaware Academy. 

Ameera Mahmood was third at 107. She had a pin in 50 seconds over SVEC’s Elizabeth Kunte in the third-place match. 

Josalyn Irvin was fourth at 114. 

Addison White was ninth at 120.  Jaelynne Libruk was eighth at 132.

Atlantis Cherry took third at 138. She won by fall over Owego’s Tatum Kowalski in 25 seconds in the third-place match. 

Zany Deese of Elmira was eighth at 145. 

Sidney Gibbs of Edison was fourth at 152. Marley Devlin of Elmira was seventh and teammate Emily Moldt was eighth. Devlin won by technical fall 12-0 over Moldt in the seventh-place match. 

Abigail Johnson of Edison was eighth at 165. It’s a return to the mat for Johnson after missing the past season plus while recovering from cancer. 

Amelia Harrington of Elmira was fifth at 185. She had one pin on the day.

Ayvah Coker of Elmira was third at 235. She pinned Izabella Ross of U-E/Vestal in the third-place match in 2:05.
