CORNING — The Horseheads boys’ bowling team picked up a 5-0 win over Maine-Endwell on Thursday, and the girls fell to M-E, 5-0.

For the boys Horseheads shot 993, 1,062 and 936 for a 2,991. M-E shot 922, 937 and 896 for a 2,755.

Micah Merrill shot 256-247-154-657 to lead Horseheads and Noah Cady shot 237-195-192-624.

Gabe Merrill shot 201-213-188-602 and Cayden Bowman shot 120-230-237-587, while Zane Alexander shot 179-177-165-521.

“Special shoutout to sophomore Micah Merrill with two great scores to lead the team,” Horseheads coach Doug Jacobs said. 

For the girls Horseheads shot 387-443-485-1,315 and M-E shot 706-757-793-2,256. 

Annabelle Guardi led Horseheads with a 119-142-121-382 and Joslynn Peters shot 79-93-118-290, while Addy Perry shot 67-72-86-225.

Summer Folk shot 73-71-144 and Jazmyne Kim shot 52-89-141 and Sarah Hopkins shot 70-63-133.
