SECTION 4 BOYS' SWIMMING & DIVING: HORSEHEADS GETS WINS OVER ITHACA, JC (December 9, 2025)

ITHACA — The Horseheads boys’ swimming and diving team picked up a pair of wins in a double-dual meet at Ithaca on Tuesday.

Horseheads beat Ithaca, 62-36, and Johnson City 66-28.

MJ Carro (2:19.20) and Joe Wood (2:21.48) went 1-2 in the 200 IM for Horseheads.

Kegan Monahan of Horseheads was third in the 50 free in 24.86.

Horseheads’ Thang Tran won the 100 fly in 58.29. Monahan was second in the 100 free in 55.43. 

Wood was third in the 500 free in 5:44.81. 

Carro won the 100 back in 1:00.52 followed by Tran in 1:00.89. Isaac Klesh was second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:17.40.
