The rest of the area’s winter sports teams get started this week as there are 36 events on the week, including 10 on Friday.

Here’s a day-by-day look at what’s on the schedule this week, including how many events each day. 

MONDAY (6)
* The Horseheads bowling team hosts Binghamton, Elmira hosts U-E, Corning hosts Vestal and Edison hosts Candor.
* The Horseheads boys’ basketball team hosts Ithaca. 
* The Corning girls’ basketball team hosts Canisteo-Greenwood.

TUESDAY (5)
* The Horseheads boys’ swimming & Diving team is at Ithaca. Elmira is at U-E and Corning is at Binghamton.
* The Corning wrestling team hosts Midlakes.
* The Elmira boys’ basketball team hosts Corning.

WEDNESDAY (6)
* The Corning bowoling team hosts Elmira.
* The Corning wrestling team hosts Ithaca and Horseheads hosts Towanda.
* The Horseheads girls’ basketball team is at Ithaca and Corning hosts Elmira.
* The Edison boys’ basketball team hosts SVE. 

THURSDAY (3)
* The Horseheads bowling team hosts Maine-Endwell. 
* The Notre Dame girls’ basketball team hosts Watkins Glen.
* The Edison wrestling team hosts Watkins Glen.

FRIDAY (10)
* The Edison bowling team is at Tioga.
* The Horseheads, Elmira and Corning swim teams are at the Elmira Invite.
* The Edison girls’ basketball team hosts Newark Valley, Corning hosts Binghamton and Horseheads hosts Maine-Endwell. 
* The Elmira girls’ wrestling team is at U-E and Corning is at Penfield.
* The Notre Dame boys’ basketball team is at Watkins Glen, Corning is at Binghamton and Edison is at Newark Valley.

SATURDAY (6)
* The Horseheads boys’ wrestling team is at Penfield, Elmira hosts the Dave Buck and Edison is at Campbell-Savona.
* The Horseheads, Elmira and Corning swimming and diving teams are at the Elmira Invite.
* The Horseheads, Elmira, Edison and ND track and field teams are at Cortland and Corning is at Brockport.
