SECTION 4 BOYS' SWIMMING & DIVING: CORNING OPENS SEASON WITH WIN OVER ITHACA (December 3, 2025)
Southern Tier Sports ReportCORNING — The Corning boys’ swimming and diving team opened the season with a 97-81 win over Ithaca on Wednesday night.
Corning won the 200 medley relay in 1:43.72.
Keith Huff was third in the 200 free in 1:59.30 and Joey Crisco led a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 IM in 2:06.69. Derek Gun was second in 2:21.68 followed by Kaeden Martinez in 2:22.17.
JP Sierzant won the 50 free in 23.01 and Isaac Kostera won the diving at 141.65.
Shawn De Pedro won the 100 fly in 58.96 followed by teammate John McKane in 1:01.38.
Sierzant won the 100 free in 50.74 with Owen VanGorden third in 1:01.07.
Huff was third in the 500 free in 5:31.60.
Corning won the 200 free relay in 1:41.76.
McKane won the 100 back in 1:02.27 with Martinez third in 1:04.77.
Cirsco won the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.42 followed by De Pedro in 1:05.77.
Corning had the top time, as an exhibition, in the 400 free relay in 3:38.72.
