CORNING — The Horseheads boys’ bowling team beat Vestal 5-0, while the girls picked up a 4-1 win over the Golden Bears.

Horseheads shot 936, 981 and 992 for a 2,909 on the boys side. 

Zane Alexander shot a 258-193-225-676 and Noah Cody shot 210-205-192-607.

Cayden Bowman shot 154-224-198-576 and Micah Merrill shot 171-182-202-555, while Gabriel Merrill shot 143-177-175-495.

Vestal shot 742, 776 and 735 for a 2,253.

Owen Roddy led Vestal with a 195-178-168-541.

For the girls Horseheads shot 471, 470 and 417 for a 1,358 and Vestal shot 299-350-494-1,143.

Eighth-grader Annabelle Guardi shot 114-168-126-408 and Sarah Hopkins shot 114-101-65-280.

Joslynn Peters shot 98-76-103-277 and Addy Perry shot 87-63-67-217, while Summer Folk shot 58-62-56-176.

Xiana Miller led Vestal with a 80-120-130-330.
