JV WRESTLING: AREA WRESTLERS FIND SUCCESS AT FOSIV JV TOURNEY (24 PHOTOS) (November 29, 2025)

WAVERLY — Area wrestlers had success at the FOSIV JV Tournament at Waverly on Saturday.

Horseheads had 10 champions and five runner-up finishes on the day.

Allen Reynoso (215), Ayden Rupp (126B), James Tousley (175E), Kenny Kailbourne (126), Nate Miller (132), Nolan Miller (110B), Nathan Blake (190B), Ryan Huang (175C), Trent Woodward (157) and Wyatt Campbell (175B) all won on the day.

Damian Saks (138), Jack Bower (285C), Justin Blakemore (165C), Steven Shutts II (285B) and Trace Woodward (103B) were second on the day.

Chance Redner (110), Chase Barnstead (132B) and Derek Madison (138C) were all third. 

Evan Ferris (138B), Joseph Saks (190) and Zachary McCormick (157B) had fourht-place finishes. 

For Corning they had three chapions and two runner-up finishes on the day.

Blane Cook (175D), Damon Vosburgh (165C) and Landyn Proudfoot (157E) all won titles on the day.

Aeryss Brewer (132B) and Reese Mayhew (126B) both finished second on the day.

Bradyn Smith (126), Easton Smith (190), Jonathan Byrnes (103C) all were third on the day and Bentley Blencowe (175B) and Mason Strawser (144) both took fourth on the day. 

Elmira had two champions and five runner-up finishes. 

Bentley Maggese (215B) and Hunter Parker (138) won titles, while Bradlee Kole (118B), Gavin Horton (157C), Jackson Wheeler (150B), Jeremiah Potrzebowski (138B) and Saw Lin Htet (215) had second-place finishes. 

Nick Johnson (126E) and Patrick Seymour (126B) were third and Jaziya Hollis (175) took fourth.
