SECTION 4 DIVING: HORSEHEADS' BLAUVELT MAKES STATES, TAKES 2ND AT SECTIONAL DIVING (24 PHOTOS) (2025-11-07) Southern Tier Sports Report ELMIRA — Horseheads’ Mackenzie Blauvelt hit the state standard, while finishing second at the Section IV, Class A Diving championship on Friday at Ernie Davis Academy.
Blauvelt had a score of 454.50, eclipsing the state mark to qualify for the state championships for the first time.
Olivia Tanton won Class A with a score of 512.35.
Isadora Cyr of Elmira finished fourth at 315.70 and Rhylynn Augustine of Horseheads was seventh at 276.10.
