SECTION 4 VOLLEYBALL: BRACKETS SET FOR SECTIONAL TOURNEY (October 29, 2025)

The brackets are set for the Section IV volleyball championships, which kick off next week. 

In AAA Corning is the second seed at 10-3 and Elmira is the third seed at 6-8. The two teams play at 6 p.m. on Nov. 5 at Corning. The winner plays Ithaca in the final at Tioga Central High School at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 8. 

The Horseheads Blue Raiders are second seeded in AA. They were 8-7 on the year. Vestal is the top seed at 9-5. The two teams meet at 11 a.m on Nov. 9 at Tioga.

In Class C the Edison Spartans are the seventh seed at 8-9. They are at No. 2 Walton (14-1) at 5 p.m. on Nov. 4. Lansing is the top seed at 13-2 on the year.
