SECTION 4 CROSS COUNTRY: EDISON FINDS SUCCESS AT WHITNEY POINT INVITE (2025-10-21)
Southern Tier Sports ReportWHITNEY POINT — The Edison boys took third out of the eight-team field at the Whitney Point Invitational on Tuesday afternoon.
Edison was third at 100 points, with Delhi-South Kortright winning at 60 points.
Jameson Duggan was eighth in 18:53.40 and Augusts Ector was 16th in 20:10.70.
Carson Balash was 20th in 20:42.70 and Jeremiah Hubschmitt was 37th in 22:33.10, while Grayson Margeson was 44th in 23:16.40.
Jaxon Brewster was 49th in 23:30.10 followed by Carter Smith in 23:47.60. Shawn Kelly was 63rd in 27:52.70 and Jordan Elliott was 70th in 29:52.80.
The Edison girls finished fourth at 86 points. Delhi-South Kortright won the invite at 33 points.
Madison Hubschmitt was 10th for Edison in 24:17 and Emma Rose Deats was 27th in 26:57.50 followed by Emma Duggan in 26:57.70.
Madison Palmieri of Edison was 38th in 29:42.30 with Olivia Welch 42nd in 31:25.50 and Riley Shilling 44th in 32:48.60.
The modified boys finished second for Edison at 58 points, with Delhi winning at 18 points.
Mark Schillo was third in 9:32.6 for the Spartans and Kegan Hartwell was 11th in 10:22.8. Cyrus Bidwell was 26th in 12:25.7 followed by Colin Till in 12:30.2 and Justin Dowden was 29th in 12:39.7. Sawyer Burleigh was 40th in 14:21.2 followed by Connor Stone in 14:37.6.
For the modified girls Edison’s Eva Mirando was 22nd in 13:45.5 and Ellie Baumgardner was 26th in 16:14.2. Parker Lincoln was 28th in 16:29.1 with Maricely Sando was 32nd in 18:45.8.
