HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER: BRACKETS SET FOR SECTIONAL PLAYOFFS (2025-10-16)

The brackets are set for the Section 4 soccer championships, with seven area teams qualifying for the postseason.

For the girls in AAA Corning is the second seed and they host No. 3 Elmira at 7 p.m. on Oct. 25. The winner goes to Waverly to take on top seeded Ithaca at 5 p.m. on Oct. 30 in the final.

In AA the Horseheads Blue Raiders are the top seed. They are into the final where they take on the winner of No. 2 Vestal and No. 3 U-E at 5 p.m. on Oct. 30.

In Class C Notre Dame is the second seed. They host the winer of No. 7 Newfield and No. 10 Greene at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 25.

For the boys in AAA Corning is the third seed and at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 25 they are at No. 2 Ithaca. The winner goes to Waverly on Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. to take on Elmira in the final.

In Class D Notre Dame is the second seed. They take on the winner of No. 7 South Kortright/Andes and No. 10 Windham-Ashland-Jewett at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 24.
