IAC GIRLS' SOCCER: EDISON EDGED BY MORAVIA, 2-1 (2025-10-14)

ELMIRA HEIGHTS — The Edison girls’ soccer team took a 1-0 lead, but were edged by Moravia 2-1 on Tuesday afternoon.

Eliza Crandall started the scoring at 31:40 off an Aurora Parlo assist.

With 1:17 left in the half Cece Stryker tied the game for Moravia.

An own goal at 54:41 off a corner kick proved to be the winner for Moravia.

Edison had 15 shots and seven corner kicks and Moravia had seven shots and six corner kicks. Kaylynn Tarby finished with five saves for the Spartans and Moravia had seven saves in goal.
