STAC BOYS' SOCCER: HORSEHEADS EDGED BY ITHACA (2025-10-08)

HORSEHEADS — The Horseheads boys’ soccer team was edged by Ithaca on Wednesday night, 2-0.

“Close game for most of the match,” Horseheads coach Mark Mucci said. “Overall, another well played match for us, and the boys battled hard all day.”

Ithaca’s Samuel Lima scored off an assist from Felix Teschi with 6:40 left int he first. Horseheads had several good chances but Ithaca goalie James Reiter made several good saves and finished with seven on the night.

Joonho Park scored with three minutes left in the match to finish the sccoring.

Teagan Sullivan had eight saves for Horseheads.
