SECTION 4 GIRLS' SWIMMING & DIVING: HORSEHEADS WINS AGAINST CORNING (2025-10-07)
Southern Tier Sports Report HORSEHEADS — The Horseheads girls’ swimming and diving team picked up a win over Corning on Tuesday night.
In the 200 medley relay Horseheads won in 1:57.28.
Ellie Ballard of Corning won the 200 free in 2:12.06 followed by Genevieve Carro of Horseheads (2:16.01) and teammate Lily Hall (2:22.47).
Ali Mosher of Horseheads won the 200 I in 2:32.31 followed by teammates Maeve Manwaring (2:39.65) and Lizzy Brown (2:42.86).
Horseheads’ Karina Lapierre won the 50 free in 25.67 followed by Corning’s Alexys Nale (25.89) and Maria Kuksenkova (27.78).
Kenzie Blauvelt of Horseheads won the diving at 251.10 followed by teammate Rylynn Augustine at 157.10 and Zoe Celelli of Corning at 95.00.
Mia Carro of Horseheads won the 100 fly in 1:01.63 followed by Corning’s Alyssa Reimsnyder (1:05.38) and Reese Collier of Horseheads (1:16.56).
Alexys Nale of Corning won the 100 free in 56.32 followed by Horseheads’ Manwaring (1:03.39) and Ava Klesh (1:03.85).
Ballard won the 500 free in 5:50.86 followed by Hall (6:10.74) and Caroline Wilcox of Horseheads (6:19.39).
Horseheads won the 200 free relay in 1:47.50.
Lapierre won the 100 back in 1:04.59 followed by Mosher (1:07.12) and Corning’s Maria Kuksenkova (1:09.21).
Mia Carro won the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.10 followed by Corning’s Erika Liu (1:20.55) and Genevieve Carro of Horseheads (1:21.47).
Horseheads won the 400 free relay in 4:18.89.
