HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASTICS: CORNING TAKES THIRD IN 2ND MEET OF YEAR (2025-10-03)

BYRON — The Corning Hawks gymnastics team took third on Friday at MCA Gymnastics with a score of 116.5.

Pittsford won with a team total of 120.1.

Sophomore Ella Lamberson was second in the all-around with a 31.3. She won the bars at 7.6, was second on the vault with a 7.9, fifth on the beam with a 7.55 and fifth on the floor with an 8.25.

Sophomore Lyla Squier was sixth in the all-around. She won the vault at 8.0 and was sixth on the floor with an 8.0.

Sophomore Addison Monichetti was 10th on the floor and freshman Olivia Grover took eighth in the all-around and seventh on the bars and balance beam. Freshman Lilly Bocchinfuso was eigth in the vault.

“The girls improved their team score by two points this week,” Corning coach Rebecca Volpe said. “We are very proud of the routines they performed tonight. Go Hawks!”
