STAC GIRLS' SOCCER: BIG SECOND HALF LIFTS HORSEHEADS PAST CORNING (24 PHOTOS) (2025-09-10) Southern Tier Sports Report HORSEHEADS — After a scoreless first half, the Horseheads Blue Raiders kicked the offensive into high gear in the second half of a 4-1 win over Corning.
Neither team could find the back of the net in the first half, but the Blue Raiders got two goals from Maddie Ribble in the second half.
Ellie Bachert and Abby Sumner each added goals for the Blue Raiders.
Brynna Walsh had the Corning goal.
"We played an even first half, but got a little flat in the second half," Corning coach Julie Pierce said. "We will keep getting better."
