Notre Dame had an early scoring chances as MK Young got a breakaway, but the shot went just wide.
It was Watkins Glen who ended up on the board first as Michaela Wheaton scored 15 minutes into the game off an Olivia King assist.
Young scored early in the second half to tie the game for the Crusaders. The goal came off a set piece as Notre Dame had the game tied throughout the second half.

Watkins Glen is 2-0 on the year and this was the season opener for Notre Dame.
