SECTION 4 GIRLS' SWIMMING & DIVING: NOTRE DAME FALLS TO WG/O-M IN SEASON OPENER (2025-09-03)

WATKINS GLEN — The Notre Dame girls’ swimming and diving team opened the year at Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour with a 94-51 loss.

In the 200 IM Leah Gonzalez was second in 2:39.45.

Charlotte Welliver won the 50 free in 28.54 with Hannah Gonzalez third in 31.08.

Madeline Lincoln was second in the 100 fly in 1:22.44 and Hannah Gonzalez was third in the 100 free in 1:07.94.

Leah Gonzalez was second in the 500 free in 5:95.68 and in the 100 back Welliver was second in 1:17.08 followed by Lincoln in 1:20.72.

Ella Cain won the 100 breaststroke in 1:36.62.

Notre Dame won the 400 free relay in 4:40.96.
