COLLEGE WOMEN'S SOCCER: HANRAHAN NAMED A-10 OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK (2025-09-02)

Elmira graduate Emily Hanrahan was named the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the week for the week ending August 31 on Tuesday afternoon.

Hanrahan had five points, on two goals and an assist during a 2-0 week for the Hawks, scoring the game-winner in both contests.

Against Rider her goal in the 15th minute proved to be the difference in a 3-0 win. She also added an assist on the final goal of the match.

Against Towson on Saturday, Hanrahan squeezed a left-footed shot inside the near post as the Hawks scored twice in the second half to rally for a 3-2 win over Towson.

Hanrahan has scored in three of the five games this year, scoring in the Hawks 2-1 loss to Hofstra to start the year. St. Joseph’s has scored seven goals this year and Hanrahan has scored, or assisted on, more than half of those goals.

Hanrahan leads the team in goals and points this year. She also led the team last year with seven goals, and tied for the team lead in points. Hanrahan also led the Hawks in goals as a freshman.
