It’s the first full week of high school sports and after a holiday on Monday the next five days this week include 44 events.

There are 10 events on both Wednesday and Saturday this week.

Here’s a day-by-day look at this week’s schedule, including how many events each day.

TUESDAY (9)
* The Horseheads golf team is at Vestal, Elmira is at U-E and Corning is at Maine-Endwell.
* Elmira boys’ soccer is at Johnson City, Corning is at Binghamton and Horseheads is at Maine-Endwell.
* Elmira girls’ soccer hosts Johnson City.
* Corning tennis hosts Johnson City.
* Notre Dame swimming and diving is at Watkins Glen.

WEDNESDAY (10)
* The Corning golf team is at Vestal
* The Corning tennis team is at Binghamton, Horseheads is at Maine-Endwell and Elmira is at Johnson City.
* The Notre Dame swimming & Diving team is at Whitney Point, Horseheads is at Ithaca and Corning is at Binghamton.
* Horseheads girls’ soccer hosts Maine-Endwell.
* Edison boys’ soccer plays O-M at the Union S[prings Tournament.
* Edison volleyball is at Dryden.

THURSDAY (9)
* The Elmira volleyball team hosts Maine-Endwell, U-E is at Horseheads and Corning hosts Johnson City.
* The Notre Dame boys’ soccer team is at Watkins Glen, Horseheads is at Vestal, Elmira is at U-E and Corning is at Maine-Endwell.
* The Edison girls’ soccer team takes on O-M at the Union Springs Tournament and Notre Dame hosts Watkins Glen.

FRIDAY (6)
* The Elmira tennis team is at U-E, Horseheads is at Vestal and Corning is at Maine-Endwell,
* Corning girls’ soccer hosts Maine-Endwell.
* Horseheads football opens the year at Troy.
* The Elmira swimming & Diving team is at U-E.

SATURDAY (10)
* The Horseheads and Elmira cross country teams are at Oneonta.
* Elmira football takes on Rush Henrietta at Alfred.
* The Corning boys’ soccer team hosts Johnson City and Edison is at the Union Springs Tournament.
* Elmira girls’ soccer hosts u-E, Horseheads is at Fayetteville-Manlius and Edison is at the Union Springs Tournament.
* Corning is at the Waverly Swimming & Diving Tournament.
* The Corning, Edison and Horseheads volleyball teams are at the Corning Tournament and Elmira is at the U-E Tournament.
