SECTION 4 BOYS' SOCCER: ND PICKS UP WIN OVER HOST OWEGO AT 607 CUP (11 PHOTOS) (2025-08-30)

OWEGO — The Notre Dame boys’ soccer team beat host Owego 3-1 in the consolation game of the 607 Cup on Saturday.

Matthew Keough opened the scoring about 20 minutes into the first half after receiving a pass from Julie Jardii. Keough took a booming shot from about 30 yards out that flew into the top left corner.

Antonio Campanella scored in the second half, finishing a beautiful team build up that was assisted by Justin Mullen.

Jardini closed the scoring for the Crusaders after scoring a free kick from jut outside the penalty area.

Owego got a goal by Brady Bartlow with 30 seconds left in the game after shooting from near midfield.

Notre Dame had eight shots and four corner kicks and Owego had two shots and a corner kick.

Brendan O’Brien had one save for Notre Dame and Brycen Heyman had five saves for Owego.

Notre Dame is at Watkins Glen on Thursday.
