HORSEHEADS BLAST WIN TITLE AT SOUTHPORT 8U TOURNEY (24 PHOTOS) (2025-07-27) Southern Tier Sports Report SOUTHPORT — The Horseheads Blast won the Southport 8u softball tournament over the weekend.
The Blast won in the quarterfinals over West Elmira, then they beat the Lady Sting, before topping Lawrenceville 13-11 in the final.
Horseheads won 15-1 over West Elmira and 15-7 over the Lady Sting.
In the games Friday and Saturday they won 26-16 over the Lady Sting and 15-3 over West Elmira.
While Horseheads beat the Lady Sting in the semifinals, Lawrenceville topped EVPP in the semifinals. The Lady Sting beat Elmira Heights in the quarterfinals. ———— PHOTOS BY BRIAN FEES.
