Immortal Wolfpack Capture 9th Grade AAU World Championship in Dominant Fashion.

The Immortal Wolfpack 9th grade basketball team solidified their place as one of the most dominant AAU teams in the country on July 6 in Orlando, capping off an incredible season with a championship run at the 2025 AAU World Championships held at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida, from July 3rd to 6th.

Their campaign began with a message. On July 3rd, the Wolfpack opened the tournament with an emphatic 70-19 victory over Georgia’s Clayco Heat, setting the tone for what would be a perfect run. Later that same day, they overwhelmed ZCamp Elite (FL), cruising to a 66-22 win.

July 4th brought more fireworks on and off the court as the Wolfpack took on Miami Tropics, another Florida-based team, and dismantled them 63-34.

By the end of pool play, Immortal Wolfpack stood as the #1 overall seed, boasting a tournament best +124 point differential. Their dominance earned them a bye straight into the Sweet 16 of the championship bracket.

On July 5th, the Wolfpack faced New Jersey Legends in the Sweet 16 and didn’t miss a beat. Behind relentless defense and fast-paced offense, they advanced with a commanding 72-38 win. In the Elite 8, they were matched against a familiar opponent: undefeated Syracuse Hoops, a squad they had seen and battled before a couple times over the past two years. In one of the tournament’s most anticipated matchups, the Wolfpack controlled the game and came away with a convincing 69-51 victory, punching their ticket to the Final 4 on the final day.

Championship Sunday featured only undefeated teams, and the Wolfpack drew their toughest test yet in RWIII Elite from Louisiana, a strong, physical, and defensive-minded squad. It was a gritty battle, but the Wolfpack showed heart and composure, grinding out a 52-46 win to advance to the championship.

Awaiting them in the final was Florida Blue Heat, the very team that ended the Wolfpack’s run the previous year in the Elite 8. This time, however, the result was different. Locked in and hungry for redemption, the Wolfpack delivered one of their best performances of the season in the biggest moment, rolling to a 71-52 win to capture the 2025 AAU 9th Grade World Championship.

The Wolfpack’s title in Orlando was the crown jewel on a historic season in which they went 64-3, winning 11 of 14 tournaments including major events like Gym Ratz in Albany and the AAU World Championships.

Of their three losses, two came on buzzer-beaters in championship games where they held late leads. Most impressively, they accomplished all this while often playing short-handed, competing in most tournaments with just 6 or 7 players—a testament to their conditioning, chemistry, and sheer will.
This championship was more than just a trophy. It was a culmination of hard work, resilience, and team-first mentality.

The Immortal Wolfpack didn’t just win they dominated, overcame adversity, and got their revenge when it mattered most.

And now, they’re world champs.
