PROFESSIONAL LACROSSE: MCNANEY MAKES ALL-STAR TEAM, OFF TO UNBEATEN START IN GOAL FOR DENVER (2025-07-07)
Southern Tier Sports ReportCorning’s Logan McNaney is a Premier Lacrosse League all-star, and he played a role in helping the Western Conference win the all-star game.
McNaney, who plays for the Denver Outlaws, started the weekend showcasing his skills at the Premier Lacrosse League’s one-on-one Goalie Wars challenge.
McNaney then came into the second half of the PLL all-star game when he replaced Utah’s Brett Dobson, who played collegiately in New York at St. Bonaventure, and had seven saves, including big two-point chance saves in the 15-13 win.
After Denver started the year 0-2, McNaney took over in net and has gone 3-0. He has a 62.5% save percentage and he has 45 saves, recording at least 14 each game.
McNaney hasn’t allowed more than 10 goals in a game, and allowed just seven against the Waterdogs, which was tied for the fewest allowed in the league at the time.
McNaney is tied for the best save percentage in the league and his 15 saves a game is third in the league.
