NYSPHSAA BOYS' GOLF: FESETCH WRAPS UP HIS CAREER AT STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS (2025-06-09)

CHURCHVILLE — Horseheads’ Jack Fesetch wrapped up his career at states with a round of 80, finishing 55th in the state.

Fesetch, who shot 81 on the first day, finished with a two-day score of 161. He was fourth among Section 4 qualifiers. His score was 19 over for the two rounds.

Fesetch shot 41 on the front and a 39 on the back with three birdies on the eighth, 12th and 13th holes.

Tina Shattuck of Maine-Endwell was the top Section 4 finisher, taking a tie for 24th with an 11-over 153. Lincoln Youngs of Greene was 14 over at 156 for a tie for 38th place finish and Sam Ligas of Binghamton was 51st at 159, which was 17 over.
