At the state qualifier on Wednesday she broke her own school record in the 100 hurdles.

Notre Dame coach Cleo Baker said: “Makenna is determined, gritty, strong, and resilient. She is single handedly the most competitive person that I know, with not only others, but with herself too. I have had the pleasure of coaching Makenna for the past 4 track seasons, and I can say that she does not have it in her to do anything without putting her best foot forward. Makenna crushed her own school record last night in the 100m hurdles, along with everything else she has achieved in her time here at Notre Dame. I know she will make that same impact at St. John Fisher. Good luck Makenna!”

Zoey McClellan will be playing women’s soccer at Keuka College. She played soccer for the past 10 years. She was a captain on her Soaring Caps travel soccer team for two years and helped her team win the Thruway League division title.

“Maggie has been an outstanding athlete this year, achieving personal bests in both shot put and discus, and making it to the state qualifier meet for the first time ever this year. Maggie is kind, driven, reliable, and hardworking. She put in the time and the work in and outside of practice this year and it truly showed in her performances. I know Maggie will do great things at Allegheny College in both her academics and athletics. Good luck Maggie,” Baker said.

Luke Richards will be attending Alfred State to pitch on the baseball team. During his time at Notre Dame he is a five-year varsity starter. He has eight career no-hitters and 350 strikeouts, both of which are school records.
