SECTION 4 BASEBALL: BRACKETS SET FOR SECTIONAL BASEBALL (2025-05-21)

The brackets are set for the Section IV baseball championships which start this week.

Notre Dame is the second seed in Class D. They host Richfield Springs/ODY at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

The winner plays on May 28 at 4:30 p.m. at the higher seed of the teams remaining.

Edison is the fifth seed in Class B. They travel to No. 4 Waverly at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The winner plays at 4:30 p.m. on May 28 between the winner of top-seeded Oneonta and the winner of O-M/WG and SVE/Candor.

The Horseheads Blue Raiders are the tops seed in Class AA. They play on May 28 at 4:30 p.m. at Horseheads against the winner of U-E and Vestal in the first game of a best-of-three series. The next game is May 30 at the lower seed and if necessary the championship is at Mirabito Stadium on May 31.

IN AAA Corning is the top seed. Elmira is the second seed and they host No. 3 Ithaca at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The winner plays at Corning on May 28. The next game is May 30 at the lower seed and the final if necessary is May 31 at the higher seed.
