BUSY DAY FOR HORSEHEADS ATHLETES SIGNING TO PLAY COLLEGE AT D3/JUCO SCHOOLS (21 PHOTOS) (May 20, 2025)
Southern Tier Sports ReportHORSEHEADS — It was a busy day of college signings for Horseheads athletes headed to the Division III/Juco level next year.
Overall there were 22 athletes who signed on the day to compete at the D3/Juco levels.
Jordyn Gross will be playing basketball at Nazareth University, while three wrestlers will be headed to the next level. Narayani Wiehe will compete in women’s wrestling at Alfred, while Seamus Carroll (Brockport) and Hunter Lavigne (Alfred State) will both compete in men’s wrestling.
Three soccer players will compete at the next level as Gavin McInerney wand Dominic Hugg will play at Elmira and Elijah Friend will play at Nazareth.
Sisters Anna and Sibby Lowe will both compete at the next level. Sibby will swim at Geneseo and Anna will swim and play lacrosse at Brockport. Gabrielle Janeski will swim at Oswego and Jordan Sheehan, who played hockey for Ithaca, since Horseheads doesn’t have a hockey team, will play hockey at Buffalo State.
Four lacrosse players will head to the next level as Brennan Murray heads to Nazareth, Adam Nelson goes to Messiah and both Luke L’Amoreaux and Max Mickey will play at Brockport.
Carlo Cipolla will compete in track and field at St. John Fisher and Jack Fesetch will play golf at Nazareth, while Emma Kamas will play soccer at Houghton.
Three football players take their skills to the college level. Robert Peckham heads to JUCO powerhouse Lackawanna College, while Wilson Foster goes to Alfred and Jonah Lamb heads to St. John Fisher.
Trevor Reidy was scheduled to sign with Corning Community College basetball, but wasn't at the signing day.
