SECTION 4 FLAG FOOTBALL: HORSEHEADS CELEBRATES SENIOR DAY WITH WIN OVER U-E (24 PHOTOS) (2025-05-13) Southern Tier Sports Report HORSEHEADS — The Horseheads flag football team celebrated senior day with a 32-19 victory over Union-Endicott on Tuesday.
Sydney Blunt started the scoring with a 39-yard touchdown pass from Jessica Als. Als hit Payton Butts on the one-point try to put the Blue Raiders up 7-0.
Union-Endicott scored on a touchdown pass to get within 7-6, but Als hit Karis Adams on a six-yard scoring pass as Horseheads went up 13-6.
Blunt had her second touchdown of the half, a 35-yard run to put Horseheads up 19-6 at the break.
Blunt had a 43-yard touchdown run in the second half and Butts caught a scoring pass of 22-yard from Als to cap the scoring for Horseheads. ———— PHOTOS BY BRIAN FEES
