STAC SOFTBALL: HORSEHEADS TOPS JC ON SENIOR NIGHT (2025-05-12)

HORSEHEADS — The Horseheads softball team celebrated senior night with a 12-0 victory over Johnson City on Monday afternoon.

The team celebrated seniors Megan Wolf, Karleigh Hayes and Chloe Perritt and they then scored nine fifth-inning runs to break open a game that was 3-0 at the time.

Wolf, Reagan Burge and Presely McInnis all had two hits for Horseheads. Wolf and Burge each had two RBI, a run scored and a double and McInnis had two RBI and two runs scored.

Caitlin Yearick had a hit, an RBI and a run scored, Aubrey Maticic had a hit and a run scored and Aubrey Howe had a hit. Samantha Bonnell had a hit and scored twice.

Dylan Young had two RBI and a run scored and Aubrey Griffith scored a run.

Perritt struck out five in four innings of three hit ball and Wolf struck out all three batters she faced in relief.
