SECTION 4 BOYS' LACROSSE: SCHWEIZER HAS 10 POINT GAME AS WG/ND TOPS OWEGO (2025-05-09)

WATKINS GLEN — Finn Schweizer had a 10-point game as the Watkins Glen/Notre Dame boys’ lacrosse team beat Owego 20-8 on Friday night.

“Back and forth game in the first five minutes, but then we caught stride and put together a good run,” WG/ND coach Geoff Crossley said. “This was by far the best game this team has put together all season. We played as a team for the full 48 minutes. Everyone played a part.

“So proud that this team came together on senior night and let the seven seniors go out on top in their last home game.”

Schweizer had eight goals and two assists and Nick D’Alleva had four goals and five assists.

Landon English had four goals and two assists and Sam Hohle had two goals and an assist.

Garrett Kone had a goal and two assists and Nick Ritter finished with a goal and an assist.

Ben Chedzoy was 17-for-26 on face-offs for WG/ND and Dylan Mattoon had 14 saves in goal.
