STAC BOYS' LACROSSE: HORSEHEADS GETS OFF TO FAST START IN WIN OVER U-E (2025-05-08)
Southern Tier Sports ReportENDICOTT — The Horseheads boys’ lacrosse team scored 18 first-half goals on their way to a 25-2 win over Union-Endicott.
Braden Woodworth had nine points for Horseheads and 12 players scored in the game, with five scoring multiple goals.
Woodworth had six goals and three assists and Brogan Sullivan had two goals and four assists, while Owen Johanson had four goals and an assist.
Griffin Stevens had three goals and two assists and Seamus Lynch had a goal and three assists, while Josh Knapp had three goals.
Keenan McCarthy had a goal and an assist and Adam Nielsen, Joe Briggs, Joey Cain, Trenton Oldfield and Liam Kelly all had goals, while Wilson Foster finished with an assist.
Luke L’Amoreaux had six saves for Horseheads and Seamus Carroll finished with five saves in the game.
Anthony Demarco and Larkin Bianco had goals for U-E and Preston Brailsford finished with 14 saves.
“I thought that the boys responded well tonight and we played very unselfish lacrosse,” Horseheads coach Jason Neubauer said. “It will be nice to get a day off tomorrow, and we are back at it on Saturday.”
Horseheads takes on South Jefferson at Dryden High School on Saturday.
