SECTION 4 TENNIS: NOTRE DAME EDGED BY LANSING, 3-2 (2025-05-08)

LANSING — The Notre Dame tennis team fell to Lansing 3-2 on the road on Thursday afternoon.

Notre Dame’s Francisco Serrano Alvarez-Sost won 6-0, 4-6, 6-1 over Toby Rigdon of Lansing at first singles and Felipe Silva of Notre Dame won 6-2, 6-2 over Carter Watts at second singles.

Lansing’s Dean Licitra won 6-1, 6-4 over Jose Elias De Tejada at third singles.

Lansing’s Fisher Boerman and Tolunay Ayar won 6-1, 6-1 over Alex Shultz and Loc Duong at first doubles and at second doubles Nadiyah Rahaman and Aidan Maloney won 6-0, 6-1 over Notre Dame’s Mairin Agan and Charlotte Welliver.
