STAC BOYS' LACROSSE: HORSEHEADS RALLIES FOR WIN AT BINGHAMTON (2025-05-08)

BINGHAMTON — The Horseheads boys’ lacrosse team picked up a 12-7 win at Binghamton on Wednesday night.

Binghamton got off to a fast start, leading 4-1 after one quarter, but Horseheads outscored them 11-3 the next three quarters, including 5-0 in the second quarter.

Brogan Sullivan had two goals and five assists for Horseheads and Brady Woodworth had four goals and an assist.

Liam Kelly had a goal and two assists and Griffin Stevens and Owen Johnson each had two goals, while Keenan McCarthy finished with a goal.

Horseheads was 19-for-23 on face-offs.

“Hats off to Binghamton and the coaching staff,” Horseheads coach Jason Neubauer said. “Their kids played hard and battled with limited subs. We started the game very slow, but the boys continued to play and we were able to pull away as the game went.”

Hudson Benedict had three goals for Binghamton and Tristen Durham had two goals, while Ty Miller had two assists.

Maxwell Lisio had a goal and an assist and Kameron Ash had a goal, while Derek Abu Jr. had an assist.

Horseheads is at Union-Endicott at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
