SECTION 4 BOYS' LACROSSE: WG/NOTRE DAME EDGED BY DRYDEN (24 PHOTOS) (2025-05-04) Southern Tier Sports Report SOUTHPORT — The Watkins Glen/Notre Dame boys’ lacrosse team trailed at the half and were never able to recover in a 15-11 loss to Dryden recently.
“Tough loss tonight,” WG/ND coach Geoff Crossley said. “Started off as a back and forth game and Dryden went on a run just before the half. We went into the half down 9-6 and never got any traction after nearly an hour of weather delay.
“Unfortunately, we just got out worked tonight in a lot of areas that we usually dominate the other teams.”
Finn Schweizer had four goals and three assists and Nick D’Alleva had four goals and an assist.
Landon English finished with three goals and an assist for the Crusaders.
