IAC SOFTBALL: NOTRE DAME SWEEPS DH OVER DRYDEN (21 PHOTOS) (2025-04-28) Southern Tier Sports Report SOUTHPORT — The Notre Dame softball team swept a doubleheader over Dryden on Monday afternoon.
In the first game the Crusaders won 6-5. Layla Sullivan threw a complete game, allowing six hits and three earned uns, striking out five.
Kayleigh Ayres had two hits and Sadie Potter had two walks and scored two runs.
Sullivan had two hits and Danasia Thompkins had a three-run walk off home run in the bottom of the fifth.
In the second game Notre Dame won 16-6. Lylie Colunio threw a complete game allowing six hits and four earned runs, striking out four.
Thompkins had a double and three walks and scored three runs. Sullivan had a hit and a walk and scored two runs.
Potter had two walks and scored two runs, Charleigh Ripley had two hits and scored two runs, Esther Shaddock had two hits and Bella Mashewske and Belle Stephens each had a hit, while Colunio had two walks, two RBI and two runs scored.
