It’s another busy week of local sports with a little of everything on this week’s schedule including four of the five area track teams at the Blue Shoes Invite to end the week.

There are a number of matchups this week involving area teams against each other, including a nigh softball game between Horseheads and Elmira at Elmira.

Overall there are 61 events this week, including 16 on Friday.

MONDAY (12)
* The Notre Dame and Elmira girls’ golf teams are at Corning.
* The Elmira tennis team hosts Corning and Edison hosts Trumansburg, while Horseheads hosts Ithaca.
* The Notre Dame baseball team hosts Dryden, Edison hosts Trumansburg and Horseheads is at U-E.
* The Notre Dame softball team hosts Dryden and Edison hosts Trumansburg.
* The Horseheads flag football team hosts Elmira.
* The Corning girls’ lacrosse team hosts Windsor and Elmira hosts Maine-Endwell.

TUESDAY (11)
* The Notre Dame boys’ golf team is at Dryden.
* The Edison and Notre Dame Dame track and field teams are at Newark Valley, Horseheads hosts Ithaca and Elmira hosts Corning.
* The Edison tennis team hosts Notre Dame, Horseheads is at Maine-Endwell and Elmira is at Johnson City.
* The Elmira softball team hosts Bath.
* The WG/Notre Dame boys’ lacrosse team is at Maine-Endwell and Horseheads is at Ithaca and Elmira is at Corning.

WEDNESDAY (10)
* The Horseheads tennis team is at Johnson City and Elmira hosts Notre Dame.
* The Notre Dame baseball team is at Trumansburg, Edison is at Dryden and Elmira hosts Horseheads.

* The Horseheads girls’ golf team hosts Watkins Glen and Lansing and Elmira hosts Corning, Waverly and SVE.
* The Corning girls’ lacrosse team hosts Quieensbury.
* The Notre Dame softball team hosts SVEC, Edison hosts Watkins Glen, Elmira hosts Owego and Corning is at U-E.
