STAC TENNIS: CORNING EDGED BY MAINE-ENDWELL (2025-04-25)

ENDWELL — The Corning boys’ tennis team was edged at Maine-Endwell on Thursday, 4-3.

Corning’s Djordje Marjanovic won 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 over Ryan Underwood at second singles and at third singles Corning’s Derek Guo won 6-0, 6-1 over Sean Hubbard while at fourth singles Devin Ianovici won 6-2, 6-2 over Jacob Outman of M-E.

In first singles James Martin of M-E won 7-6 (7-2), 6-0 over Sam Masaki.

Maine-Endwell won the three doubles matches.

Billy Underwood and Jacob Williamson won 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 over Mark Hong and Kaeden Martinez at first doubles and at second doubles Ian Sheridan and Andrew Sheridan won 6-2, 6-4 over Adam Scott and Ethan Smith.

Yianni Modlo and Daniel Brown of M-E won 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (7-3) over Aditya Aiyar and Bryan (Taekyu) Lee at third doubles.
