HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: LATE RUNS COST ELMIRA AGAINST ITHACA (2025-04-22)
Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — The Elmira baseball team fell to Ithaca 14-5 on Monday afternoon.
It was 3-3 after five, but Ithaca scored four in the sixth and seven in the fifth.
Aiden Palmer was 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored for Elmira and Jack Cavalier had two hits, with a home run and a double, two RBI and two runs scored.
Quinn Hanrahan, Noah Cain and Owen Smith all had hits. Hanrahan had a double and scored a run. Dom Ellis scored a run in the game.
Aiden Palmer went five innings, allowing four hits and three runs, none earned, striking out 11. Smith and Hanrahan worked in relief, with Hanrahan striking out five.
