As athletes head back to school after spring break, we get one of the busiest weeks of the high school spots calendar year.

Overall this week there are 70 events, including at least 10 events each day.

Here is a day-by-day look at this week’s schedule, including how many events each day.

MONDAY (12)
* The Corning golf team hosts Horseheads, SVE and Lansing.
* The Notre Dame softball team hosts Lansing, Corning hosts Horseheads and Edison hosts Whitney Point.
* The Notre Dame baseball team hosts Lansing, Edison hosts Whitney Point, Elmira hosts Ithaca and Horseheads hosts Corning.
* The Horseheads tennis team is at Maine-Endwell.
 The Horseheads flag football team hosts Corning.
* The Elmira girls’ lacrosse team hosts Horseheads and Corning hosts Ithaca.

TUESDAY (13)
* The Notre Dame tennis team hosts Trumansburg, Horseheads hosts Corning and Edison is at Moravia.
* The Edison track and field team is at Candor, Notre Dame is at Watkins Glen and Corning hosts Horseheads.
* The Notre Dame boys’ lacrosse team is at Johnson City, Horseheads is at Binghamton, Corning is at U-E and Elmira hosts Vestal.
* The Corning golf team joins Marathon at Waverly.
* The Notre Dame softball team hosts Trumansburg.
* The Notre Dame boys’ golf team hosts Trumansburg.

WEDNESDAY (15)
* The Notre Dame boys’ golf team joins O-M at Marathon.
* The Corning baseball team hosts Horseheads, Notre Dame hosts Whitney Point, Edison hosts Lansing and Elmira is at Ithaca.
* The Notre Dame softball team hosts Whitney Point, Edison hosts Lansing, Horseheads hosts Maine-Endwell, Corning is at Johnson City and Elmira hosts U-E.
* The Corning flag football team is at Vestal and Horseheads is at Binghamton.
* The Notre Dame tennis team is at Newark Valley and Elmira hosts Maine-Endwell.
* The Elmira track and field team hosts Ithaca.

THURSDAY (10)
* The Edison tennis team hosts Southern Cayuga and Horsheeads hosts U-E.
* The Elmira girls’ lacrosse team is at Owego and Horsheads hosts Corning.
* The Corning track and field team is at the Penn Relays.
* The Corning softball team hosts Edison and Elmira is at Windsor.
* The Elmira flag football team hosts Maine-Endwell.

FRIDAY (10)
* The Notre Dame, Elmira and Waverly girls’ golf teams are at Horseheads.

* The Horseheads Elmira, Notre Dame, Corning and Edison track and field teams are at the Elmira Invite.
* The Corning and Elmira softball teams are at the Mary Testa Tournament, with Corning playing at Windsor and Elmira at Waverly. The Notre Dame softball team is at Towanda.
* The Corning flag football team hosts u-E and Elmira is at Ithaca.
* The Corning baseball team is at Aquinas and Notre Dame is at Towanda.
* The Notre Dame boys’ lacrosse team is at Dryden and Elmira is at Casanovia.
