HIGH SCHOOL TRACK AND FIELD: ELMIRA COMPETES AT MOLLY DRY INVITE (24 PHOTOS) (2025-04-17)
Southern Tier Sports ReportMANSFIELD — The Elmira Express competed at the annual Molly Dry Invitational at Mansfield University on Thursday.
The girls took seventh at 38 points and the boys were ninth at 38. Hughesville won the girls at 152 and they won the boys at 201.
Elmira’s boys were seventh in the 3200 relay in 9:58.24 and in the 110 hurdles John-Charles Walton was ninth in 20.01.
Ta’hjay Molina-Bacome was second in the 100 meters in 11.50 and Darien Harris was 11th in 12.04.
Ayden Coleman was 12th in the 1600 in 5:13.92 with teammate Cameron Riley 16th in 5:25.12.
Javare Allen took 15th in the 400 in 59.91 and Ryder Johns was 20th in the 800 in 2:27.49.
DJ Coprew was second in the 200 in 22.81 with Jadon Lagonegro ninth in 24.88. Ryan Goble was 20th at 26.31.
Elmira was eighth in the 1600 relay in 3:57.45 and Darien Harris tied for seventh in the high jump at 5-feet, 2-inches. Goble and Charles-Walton tied for 14th at 5-feet.
Jace-Thomas Barr was eighth in the discus at 97-feet, 10-inches and Darien Coprew was seventh in the triple jump at 38-feet, 4 3/4-inches.
James Lovell was fourth in the 2000 steeplechase in 7:18.24 and in the girls’ 110 hurdles Selena Rollins was eighth in 18.84. Serenity Rollins was second in the 100 in 12.96 and Arrianna Jones was fourth in 13.32. Alexys Bristol was 18th in 14.72.
Madelyn Wise was fifth in the 1500 in 5:55.80 and teammate Mariah Faucett was 18th in 7:09.77.
Zoey Brooks was 14th in the 400 in 1:10.31 and Serenity Rollins was 20th in 1:18.54.
Wise was 11th in the 800 in 2:47.60 followed by Molly Doran in 2:48.06. Miller Kiersten was 15th in 2:51.60.
Jones was fifth in the 200 in 27.69 and teammate Naudia Inness was 10th in 29.50 while Jazae Watkins-White was 12th in 30.05 and Bristow was 19th in 31.77.
Selena Rollins was seventh in the high jump at 4-feet, 6-inches. Alana Brink was 19th in the shot put at 21-feet, 7 3/4-inches.
Iamarieah Rivers-Morgan was 20th in the discus at 59-feet, 2-inches.
Inness was sixth in the long jump at 14-feet, 9-inches followed by Isadora Cyr at 14-feet, 8-inches.
Cyr was third in the triple jump at 32-feet, 8 1/2-inches and Inness was sixth at 30-feet, 7 1/4-inches.
Elmira won the 4x100 relay in 44.38.
