SOUTHPORT — The Edison softball team had three innings with at least five runs on their way to a 19-0 win over Notre Dame on Monday.

The Spartans had six in the first, eight in the third and five in the fifth innings.

Emily Aiello had three hits, with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored and Charlee Stroman had three hits, two RBI and a run scored.

Carissa Cowan had two hits, with a double, two RBI and two runs scored and Aurora Parlo had two hits and scored two runs. Rosie Wheeler had two hits, an RBI and a run scored.

Bella Moffe had a hit, two RBI and two runs scored and Maycie Bennett had a hit, two RBI and three runs scored, while Kailey Ripley and Cierra Davis each had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Peyton Gibbs scored three runs and Tayler Burdick scored a run.

Wheeler threw a three-hitter, striking out nine against one walk.

Lylie Colunio, Thompkins and Isabella Mashewske had hits for Notre Dame.

Layla Sullivan struck out three in three innings and Kayleigh Ayres worked two innings.
