STAC SOFTBALL: WOLF HURLS FOUR-HITTER AS HORSEHEADS TOPS VESTAL (24 PHOTOS) (2025-04-04) Southern Tier Sports Report HORSEHEADS — Megan Wolf threw a four hitter and the Horseheads softball team beat Vestal 4-2 to move to 2-0 on the year.
It was a 1-1 game through four innings, when Reagan Burge hit a two-run double in the fifth to break things open as Horseheads scored three runs in the fifth inning.
Wolf struck out 11 and allowed two runs on four hits in the game. Wolf also went 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.
Purge had two hits, with the double, three RBI and a run scored and Grace Cronin had two hits on the day.
Dylan Young and Presely McInnis each had hits in the game.
