SECTION 4 TENNIS: NOTRE DAME OPENS SEASON WITH WIN AT TRUMANSBURG (2025-04-02)

TRUMANSBURG — The Notre Dame tennis team went on the road and opened the year with a 3-2 win over Trumansburg on Tuesday.

Sophomore Francisco Serrano won 6-0, 6-0 for Notre Dame over Lee Covell at first singles. In second singles Senior Felipe Silva of Notre Dame beat Ryan Paradisin 6-1, 6-1.

Sophomore Jose Elias de Tejada of Notre Dame won 6-2, 6-0 over Taishi Boshart at third singles.

Trumansburg’s first doubles team of Lena Everhart and June Wofford won 6-2, 6-3 over Notre Dame juniors Antonio Gnoni and Loc Duong and at second doubles Ezra Garrison and Zanjan Ferrari of Trumansburg won over Notre Dame juniors Marion Agan and Charlotte Welliver 6-3, 6-4.
