Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA – Blustery and snowy conditions greeted the Elmira College Soaring Eagles and Lycoming College Warriors on Wednesday in women's lacrosse action at Campus Field, as the Warriors recorded an 18-0 victory against the Soaring Eagles.

TEAM RECORDS: Elmira (0-3), Lycoming (5-3)
HOW IT HAPPENED: • Elmira would get a free position attempt with 9:24 left in the first quarter as Mallory Schultz would have her attempt miss just wide of the cage.
• Another free position attempt would come with 4:01 left in the first quarter for the Purple & Gold, as Caitlin Ehlenfield had her attempt go wide of the cage.
• Elmira goalkeeper Camila Hidalgo recorded three saves in the opening frame.
• Kelsey Stewart and Ehlenfield both had a shot on goal in the third quarter for the Soaring Eagles, as Lycoming goalkeeper Emma Yanders would deny both chances.
• The Soaring Eagles had a flurry of offensive chances around the 11-minute mark in the fourth quarter, as Indigo Smallwood and Gabby Bradigan had back-to-back scoring chances.
• EC later had a free position attempt with 10:22 remaining in the contest, as Ehlenfield would have her shot stopped by Yanders.
• Hidalgo finished the contest with 10 saves between the pipes for Elmira, while Stewart paced the Soaring Eagles with three groundballs and two caused turnovers.
UP NEXT: The Soaring Eagles return to Campus Field for a 5:00 p.m. matchup against Alfred University on Friday, March 28.
