COLLEGE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: ELMIRA GRAD GENTILE NAMED HONORABLE MENTION ALL-AMERICAN (2025-03-23)

Elmira graduate Morgan Gentile was recognized as one of the nation’s best after her season for the Edinboro women’s basketball team.

Gentile was named a Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Association Honorable Mention All-American.

The Elmira graduate had previously been named PSAC West Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference selection. She was also a second-team All-Atlantic Region selection by D2CCA.

On the season Gentile averaged 15.4 points, while leading the PSAC with 4.6 assists per game. She was seventh in the conference with 2.29 steals a per game and finished her career with 1,113 points, 388 rebounds and 253 assists.
