COLLEGE WOMEN'S LACROSSE: GROTTENTHALER LEADS YOUNGSTOWN STATE IN GOALS ON SEASON, HAS SCORED IN EVERY GAME (2025-03-13)

Corning graduate Katie Grottenthaler has goals in every game this year, scoring 26 times in eight games for Youngstown State, which has started the year 5-3.

Grottenthaler has multiple goals in seven of the eight games and on March 6 she had a career-high six goals in a win over Gardner-Webb.

A year ago Grottenthaler had 15 goals and five assists as a freshman. This year she has had 16 goals in just the past four games.

Before this year her career high was three goals. Grottenthaler had three games of at least four games this year.

She had four goals against Lindenwood and Wofford College. She had hat tricks against Saint Francis, Butler and Bradford and two goals against Duquesne and one against St. Bonaventure.

Grottenthaler leads the team in goals and is second in points. She leads in shots and shots on goals and leads the team in ground balls. She’s started all eight games.
